Mood office is an interactive building that embraces the feelings and emotions during the design process. All the designers from different fields are following a similar design process. There are 11 main steps as meeting with a client, sketching, working on a computer,… Some of these steps of the design process are returning and repeating. The mood office wants to embody those steps of the design process while giving them the exact space.

The designer has diverse feelings and emotions during those steps. According to those feelings, space should shape the program of the building. The most creative step of all is the sketching. Sketching is part of the design process that appears in all the design fields. It is a creative, innovative, relaxing and vibrant step. A free shape volume that stretches from the ground floor and rise upon the last floor is shaping this step of the process. This volume is covered up with a bamboo wall. Materialization of all the spaces is according to the feelings during the design process. This volume is a secret oasis inside the mood office and it is approached from each floor. Here the designers could feel like they are in one unique room and get inspired by each other, but at the same time feel as individuals. Additionally, visitors from the ground floor can have a fast preview of the work of the entire building, without interrupting the designers.

On the third floor, there is a brainstorming room in an oval shape. This room could be an escape space where designers from different field could have a small chat, laptop reading, listening to music etc. This room also could be enclosed and become an audio-visual room. Some interesting events and project sharing could occur there.

On the ground floor activities like an exhibition, cafeteria, restaurant, and meeting with the clients could be found, as the most public part of the building. The stairs, toilets and all the enclosed rooms like storages, wardrobes are positioned in the rectangular core and are repeating on each floor. This element also divides the reading area from the other more active part. There, readers can relax, while watching in the trees.

The bamboo space continues through the floors of the buildings and is connecting the employees.
